Xiamen holds Mexico investment events to boost local companies' global expansion

The "Hailian Reception Hall of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce — Xiamen Enterprises Going Global" and the Mexico Investment Exchange Conference, were held at the Sea World of Xiamen on March 24.

The event served as an important platform to deepen China-Mexico economic and trade cooperation and support enterprises in exploring international markets. Nearly 100 representatives from companies and related institutions attended, engaging in in-depth discussions on market opportunities, policy environment, and risk management in Mexico, jointly exploring new pathways for collaboration.

Wu Huiyi, deputy director of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, highlighted the vast potential for cooperation between Xiamen and Mexico in industrial and supply chains. He expressed hope that the event would help Xiamen enterprises gain a deeper understanding of Mexico's market environment, investment policies, and legal regulations, thereby supporting their international expansion.

He also emphasized that the event aimed to establish connections for participating companies and provide services to facilitate their trade and investment activities in Mexico.

During the event, experts from various fields, such as taxation and law, provided practical insights from their professional perspectives to empower companies in their global expansion.

For instance, Chen Jiancheng, assistant to the president of Intretech — the organizer of Xiamen's Investment and Trade (Mexico) Service Point — shared detailed analysis of the local investment environment and the core support functions of the service point. His presentation drew on Intretech's experience in developing its industrial park in Mexico.
