Global investors gather in Guangzhou for 25th CIFIT promotion symposium

The Organizing Committee of the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) held a promotion symposium in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, on June 3. During the event, the committee extended invitations to global businesses, welcoming them to discover Xiamen, explore Fujian, and invest in China.

The promotion symposium was attended by 54 representatives of consulates general in China, spanning 43 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, Hungary, and Senegal. Compared to previous years, this year saw the participation of more countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

This year's CIFIT will focus on financial capital investment, featuring dedicated exhibition zones for financial capital matchmaking, industrial park cooperation, and industrial investment promotion, while also highlighting trending sectors such as green development and the digital economy.

For the first time, CIFIT will introduce specialized zones such as the Low-Altitude Economy Industry Zone and the Artificial Intelligence Industry Zone.

During this year's CIFIT, the UNCTAD will co-host the Future Investment Conference with Chinese cities  for the first time. This initiative aims to establish a premium global platform for international dialogue and cooperation in investment and technological innovation.

In addition, this year's CIFIT will feature dedicated exhibition zones focusing on global investment services, new quality productive forces, and international cooperation for specialized and innovative SMEs.

A series of high-profile activities including investment and cooperation exchange sessions will be featured with the guest country of honor, the UK, including digital economy matchmaking and exchanges among BRICS countries.

This year, the Cloud CIFIT platform has undergone comprehensive upgrades to enhance project matchmaking and AI-powered precision services.
