First China-Europe FTZ train route notches 1,378 trips in a decade

Local officials marked the 10th anniversary of the first China-Europe train departing from a free trade zone in China by recognizing the departure from Xiamen International Logistics Port on August 16 of a China-Europe (Xiamen) train carrying goods such as shoes and clothing.

Local customs officials noted that, over the past decade, the China-Europe (Xiamen) train has notched 1,378 trips carrying 120,000 standard containers with a total value of over 35.5 billion yuan. The types of goods transported cover more than a thousand categories, including electronics, machinery, daily necessities and biomedicine.
