UK to shine at 25th CIFIT as guest country of honor

The 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) will be held in Xiamen, Fujian province, from Sept 8 to 11.

As the guest country of honor this year, the United Kingdom will showcase investment opportunities in five key industries and host a series of exchange activities.

The UK National Pavilion, under the theme "Invest in GREAT", features an exhibition space of over 400 square meters. It highlights the core elements of the UK's Modern Industrial Strategy, including innovations in healthcare and life sciences, the ecosystem of financial and professional services, as well as clean energy and green infrastructure.

In addition to business highlights, the pavilion will showcase British culture and creative concepts, offering a comprehensive display of "British Excellence".

At this year's CIFIT, the UK will host a series of economic and trade matchmaking events, which mainly include the China-UK Health Innovation Platform Exchange, the China-UK Investment Dialogue Series, and the China (Fujian)-UK Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference.

The UK delegation to this year's CIFIT will consist of three groups: the Department for Business and Trade Delegation, the China-Britain Business Council Delegation, and a delegation of representatives from various British cities.

So far, more than 110 institutions and companies in key sectors such as financial services and healthcare have confirmed their participation. Key industry associations and leading enterprises including the China-Britain Business Council, Jaguar Land Rover, and Unilever will be attending the event.
